If P ^ Q ^ R = Bodhisattva From Underground Perhaps it is my logical mathematical inclinations that leads me to relate to the Lotus Sutra from the perspective of logic truths arguments. Frequently I allude to this when I talk about the Lotus Sutra here at the temple. Today I would like to lay it out for you in a diagram, I have become enamored of diagrams lately.

Immovable Fudo Myo Day Fudo is one of two esoteric deities appearing in the mandala in Nichiren Buddhism either represented in calligraphic form or in statue. Nothing has been uncovered by Nichiren that would explain definitively why Fudo and Aizen appear when they are not specifically mentioned in the Lotus Sutra. There is some speculation, but to my knowledge nothing beyond that exists by way of explanation.

Who’s Your Superior Practices Anniversary of Matsubagayatsu Persecution – 1260 On August 27, 1260 while Nichiren was living in Kamakura he suffered at the hands of an angry mob of Pure Land believers, which had been incited to attack Nichiren. Prior to their arrival at his residence in Matsubagayatsu he was alerted to their approach and escaped physical harm, though his residence was burned.
