Planning Waiting Nichiren Enters Seicho-ji to begin his education 1233 On this day in 1233 the boy, Zenichi-maro, enters Siecho-ji a temple near his home fishing village. Zenichimaro is only 11 years old and is sent to the temple to begin his schooling, as was customary for young boys. Upon entering the temple he is given a new name, Yakuo-maro.

Holes – May 11, 2012 Meditation

Holes The other day I saw a quote which got me to remembering a book and movie I had read several years ago. The name of the book and movie is “Holes” by Louis Sachar. The story briefly is about a young boy who is falsely accused of a crime and sent to a youth detention facility. His purpose at the facility is really to fulfill a long standing karmic debt that was generations old.
