Will You Support This?

Hello, thank you for visiting this blog. On average there are 40 to 50 page views per day every day. This has been consistent over the past year while I have been pulled away and unable to post fresh content on a regular basis. Prior to my undertaking chaplain training, when I was posting new content on a regular basis the daily totals were on the order of over 100 – 150 page views a day.

Strangely though there are no donations, no one makes effort to ensure this is available for themselves and others in the future. That ignores the first of the Six Perfections without which there is incomplete practice.

Dana – Giving – is the first of the Six Perfections

Writing is something I enjoy doing and it is also part of my practice. On this blog it is my way of repaying my debt of gratitude, my Dana. As part of my practice to establish a Nichiren Shu temple I write so that the teachings of the Lotus Sutra can be spread. I also write in the hopes that people will be appreciative enough to help support the teachings.

Dana – Giving – is the gateway to expanding your life through gratitude

I don’t think it is too much to ask you to consider what kind of effort you are making to ensure this resource continues and hopefully expands. It doesn’t need to be a large amount. A few dollars every week, or a buck or two every time you read some articles. These small donations made on a regular basis do add up.

Dana – Giving – even small consistent effort has great rewards

Please consider how you might be able to repay your debt of gratitude for the use of our temple’s resources. Please take a moment now to click the PayPal Donate button and drop a few bucks into the till for the temple (if you don’t like PayPal you can send a check).

(I will be done with my intense chaplain training soon and will be posting more regularly, in the mean time please donate for what you have used and for what is available)
