On Tuesday 26 January 2016 I joined with Rabbi Judy Schindler of Temple Beth El and Imam Atif Chaudhry of the Islamic Society of Greater Charlotte in a discussion on Politics and Religion. This was the 4th time I’ve been invited to present in this annual community offering by the Comparative Religion Series Committee, now in the 15th year of providing this annual event.

Currently I am also taking healing touch classes leading to become a certified Healing Touch Practitioner. I do volunteer work with the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (you may learn more about them by following the link) caring for individuals who are HIV+ or who have AIDS/SIDA.
This Sutra of the Lotus Flower of the Wonderful Dharma is the treasury of the hidden core of the Buddhas, of the Tathagatas. It is superior to all the other sutras. I kept it in secret and refrained from expounding it for the long night. Now I expound it to you today for the first time.
