Microblog Posts – November 6, 2019

I have begun again using the Microblog feature on my blog. For now you can find a few of the newest ones by scrolling down to the footer section on each page.

Currently these are not being broadcast via the newsletter function and there I haven’t created a top menu function for access. I’ll work on those in the next few days.

So, what are Microblog Posts, you may ask. These are short posts usually well less than 200 words though they may get that long, anything longer will appears as a regular post. There will be no media such as photos or videos associated with the Microblog.

In these short Microblog posts will be random thoughts and observations on arious things that occur and relate to the Dharma. In particular I see a nice usage as I begin another writing project Meditations which will be on the Lotus Sutra.

If Meditations turns into a book length finished project then I’ll encorporate these shorter posts into the body of the book.

I’m excited to begin this project which will tie together some of my more recent posts which have sort of hung out here unfinished. As I envision this writing I see it combing longer prose with shorter interspersed thoughts, hence the Microblog, as well as illustrated with black and wite pen sketches to illustrate what what I see popping up in my mind as I read through and contemplate the Sutra.

I hope you enjoy going on this journey with me, as I said I am excited to get this idea out which has been percolating and steeping in the teak kettle of my mind.
