New Year Blessing for Refugee Bhutanese Buddhist Community

As part of the New Year celebrations I was asked to do a service for refugees from Bhutan and their Buddhist community. There were over 200 people present to receive special New Year blessings and specially prepared amulets for their protection and good fortune in this New Year. Most of those present have been in the USA less than one year. They have undergone many struggles in this past year. I received a report that they have all found jobs and are trying to establish a life here in their new home.
