Today our Dharma talk continues our study of Nonviolent Communication. The focus for the study today is on needs and our ability to know and communicate our needs. Needs is the third part of the four parts of the NVC formula; Observation, Feelings, Needs, Request (OFNR).

Currently I am also taking healing touch classes leading to become a certified Healing Touch Practitioner. I do volunteer work with the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (you may learn more about them by following the link) caring for individuals who are HIV+ or who have AIDS/SIDA.
I will cause all living beings to cross the ocean of birth and death if they have not yet done so. I will cause them to emancipate themselves from suffering if they have not yet done so. I will cause them to have peace of mind if they have not yet done so. I will cause them to attain Nirvana if they have not yet done so.
