NVC Dharma Talk – Requests Part 2 – December 2, 1018

Today was our second venture into the fourth part of the four part formula of Nonviolent Communication, NVC, Requests.  This is hard work as you can witness from the comments and struggles of our Sangha today.  Perhaps you too will take advantage of the moments of silence and seriously engage in your own reflections and thoughts.

NVC is hard work, it is about learning a new way of engaging in conversations and communication as well as engaging in the serious practice and application of the principles, which are not automatic and perhaps not our default mode of connecting with others or even our selves.

As we take time during this season of the year of thanks and giving I hope you will consider making a donation to Myosho-ji to support the work and teaching we are offering in our attempt to spread the principles of Buddhism and the teachings of the Lotus Sutra.  You may make either a one time donation or perhaps you might consider a continuing donation.  In either case we, myself and the Sangha, greatly appreciate your offering.
